The popular local band called Mercy Mercy Me makes a trip to Charleston for a big performance only to experience a few misadventures in the process. A combination of spectacular personalities, rock talent and booze made these four musicians into local icons. One member has been christened “Slopdog”, because the band swears that the presence of booze transforms him into a wild creature of the night. After throwing a solid concert, the group parties long after the crowd dissipates. At last, Slopdog reveals his inner birthday boy with the help of some heavy drinking. The celebration comes to an abrupt end when Slopdog’s fabled alter ego mixes it up with another band member, starting a fight.
