Jim, a young man living in a seaside tourist town (Myrtle Beach, SC) with no direction in his life, has a crush on Joanne, a coworker at the beachwear store. But can he muster the courage to ask her for a date before she leaves at the end of the summer? His roommates don't seem to think so, but with the encouragement of another friend, Jim is transformed into a new man. So what if that friend happens to be a talking blowup dolphin that only he can hear? Finding the courage to follow your dreams is the theme of this whimsical musical comedy.
