Welcome to Indie Bits, our newest addition to the 2014 Indie Grits Film Festival! Indie Bits is a one-day celebration of independent gaming and interactive media designed to foster collaboration between developers and enthusiasts, academics and artists interested in games and gaming technologies. The Indie Bits Game Showcase, the main event, is a gaming competition that accepts submissions from across the Southeast and adheres to the same standards and  vibes of the Indie Grits Film Festival.

The Indie Bits Pass will gain you access to all events at Indie Bits. Reservations for seats at War Games must be made on site during Indie Bits. No early reservations. Check below for a schedule of events. More programs and announcements to come!

Indie Bits Showcase

The showcase, the bread and butter of Indie Bits, will put all the amazing game submissions from across the Southeast into a room so that everyone can play.

We firmly believe that gaming is important, and that there is some amazing stuff going on in around us. We share Indie Grits‘s desire to show off the talent, energy and art emerging from the Southeast and broaden the culture in our hometown Columbia and across the region.
