Yes! It is officially under way. Indie Grits year four has officially begun and what a great first day it was. Thanks so much to everyone who came out to see our screenings at both the Fox and the Nick. We were fortunate enough to have a lot of filmmakers present for our opening films. We hope to have at least 1 filmmaker at each screening available for a Q & A so you can ask that one question that is killing you inside that would never get answered in a normal movie theater environment. The Student Program at the Fox was great, but if you missed it last night we will be showing it again Friday at 3pm at the Nick. Thanks to Immaculate Consumption for a great filmmaker reception and to Hunter Gatherer for hosting a great show. Kid Trails, Choir Quit, and Mercy Mercy Me packed out HG and killed it. So far: 14 films down, 38 to go so we are definitely just getting started. We hope to see you tonight as we are excited to host USC's Moving Image Research Collection at the Nick at 6pm. Be sure to show up early to get a seat.
