If I had to describe the Thursday programs in a word... well, I couldn't do it. The 6 p.m. set definitely skewed queer, but the two shorts, What the Frock and Rosebud, were entirely different animals -- joined only cross-dressing characters. What followed was Paige Williams' deeply personal documentary feature about her parents' involvement in the ex gay ministry movement, Mississippi Queen.

Coverage of the 8 p.m. film will have to wait, though. There's a pint or two calling my name at the Whig. --Amy
